Your Data is Private
ArtsFunder collects minimal data to provide grant-writing support. Your draft applications are private and never shared with funders or third parties.
What We Collect
- Account Information: Email address, organisation name, country, discipline (for authentication and grant filtering)
- Draft Content: Project descriptions, answers to table read questions, generated drafts (stored securely, never shared)
- Usage Data: Which grants you view, when you create drafts (to improve the service)
- Payment Information: Stripe handles all payment processing; we never store card details
How We Use Your Data
- To generate AI-assisted drafts based on your project information
- To maintain your draft workspace and allow editing
- To send grant deadline alerts if you opt in
- To improve our grant-writing prompts and support materials recommendations
What We Don't Do
- We do not share your applications with funders
- We do not track success rates per funder on your behalf
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your draft content to train public AI models
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) servers in Australia. Drafts are encrypted at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
AI Processing
When you generate drafts, your project information is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic does not train models on your data. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details.
Your Rights
You can:
- Access all your draft data from your dashboard
- Delete your account and all associated drafts at any time
- Export your drafts before deletion
- Opt out of email alerts (grants list remains accessible)
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (session management). No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
Changes to This Policy
We'll notify users of significant privacy policy changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
